This is an on-site role for a Pharmacist at Beechwood Whole Health Pharmacy, Physio, and Medical Center in Ottawa, ON. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing patient consultations, counseling on medication usage and side effects, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and promoting health and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in dispensing prescriptions, drug formulation, and pharmaceutical calculations.
- Strong knowledge of patient counseling, medication management, and drug interactions.
- Familiarity with inventory management, record-keeping, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
- Hold a valid license to practice pharmacy in Ontario.
- Experience with patient education and a patient-centered approach to care is preferred.
